SLAF Women's Volleyball Team emerged victorious at NYSC-Rupavahini Volleyball Championship 2017
Sri Lanka Air Force Women's Volleyball Team emerged the Women's Champions at the 31st National Youth Services Council (NYSC) - Rupavahini Volleyball Championship held at the NYSC Maharagama on the 16th of December 2017. Further, SLAF Men's team became the 2nd Runner up at the tournament.
In the women's final SLAF beat SL Navy 3-0 (27-25, 25-23 and 34-32). The best player award was won by LAC Kawshalya GWAA .
Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation graced the occasion as Chief Guest and gave away the awards to the winners. Chairman of National Youth Council Eranda Welianage was also present at the closing ceremony.
