Annual AOC's Inspection at SLAF Academy China Bay
Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy conducted the Annual AOC's inspection of SLAF Academy China Bay today (16 June 2017).
The Commander was welcomed upon arrival for the inspection, after which he reviewed the Parade commanded by the Commandant of SLAF Academy China Bay Air Vice Marshal PDKT Jayasingha.
Certificates of Commendation were awarded during the parade to 024175 LAC Makalanda MR (Ops Agro), Mr. AK Nisamdeen (Civil) for the exceptional service rendered to the development of the Academy.
Commander joined the customary all ranks lunch at the Airmen mess with a cross section of Officers, Airmen, Airwomen and Civilian Staff. Thereafter, Commander addressed the gathering and appreciated the commendable effort taken by all Officers, Staff and Civilians to maintaining the standards of the Academy at a commendable level.
