Language plays a vital role as far as expressing power of thoughts in numerous situations expected by Military Officers are concerned. In real life ‘English Deficiency’ silently kills a career which leads to frustration, depression, and even paves for suicidal. With the understanding of the gravity and the importance of the language the Air Force Headquarters has decided to step in-to find the root cause at failures, and to formulate a suitable solution, which transforms ordinary into extra ordinary.

The Closing Address of the English Language Development Course was held on 30th May 2014 under the patronage of the Acting Commanding Officer of the Combat Training School Diyatalawa Wing Commander GPSN Piyasena.

The officers those who underwent training privileged to have a precious interaction session together with the Director General Engineering, Staff Officer General Engineering-I who have visited the school and with the Acting Commanding Officer.

The course programme was convened for twelve (12) junior officers as per the directives given by the Directorate of Training, Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters in order to be proficient on various aspects of English Language Learning.  Each of the lectures was followed by a practical exercise to enhance their knowledge and experience further.
