SLAF men’s and women’s volleyball teams go out favorites to secure the national titles at the finals of national super league volleyball championship due on 02 June 2012. In the women’s category, SLAF will meet the team from the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment, while in the men’s category; SLAF will meet the Sri Lanka Ports Authority team.

Although the both opponents are the current national champions in the respective segments, SLAF teams having remained unbeaten during the league matches go out with confidence to clinch this important championship. SLAF men’s team is coached by former National vice captain Corporal Janaka Fernando while the women’s team is coached by former national skipper and a winner of Wartharasa Trophy, Sergeant Nalin Sampath Abeysinghe. Both these finals will be  telecast live through ITN channel.
