Air Force Boxing Team does well at novices Championship Boxing Meet

The Annual Amateur Boxing Association Men’s and Women’s “Novices Championship" Boxing meet 2012 was held on 5 to 9 June 2012 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. The Sri Lanka Air Force team was participate at this tournament and won one Gold medal, four Silver medals and six Bronze medals successfully. Out from that winning titles Leading Air Craftsman Kumara nominated as the best Boxer of the tournament.
