The Sri Lanka Air Force Rugby team and its skipper have been nominated to compete in the poll which has been appearing on the Sunday Observer , Daily News and Daily Dinamina  news papers for the past for the past 03 weeks. However, this week ending from 25th October 2009 being the final week for this competition Squadron Leader Kosala Ranasinghe has been placed 4th with 6541 votes whilst the Air Force team has gained 3185 votes to date.

This being the situation our fans are kindly requested refer the Sunday Observer (18 Oct 09), Daily News (Tuesday & Friday) and Daily Dinamina (Tuesday &Friday) which carry the valid coupons for this week and send the duly completed coupons to the Sports Editor, Sunday Observer, Lake House, Colombo 10 on or before 25th Oct 09.
