SLAF Excel at Defence Services Handgun Championships

Sri Lanka Air Force shooters
displayed excellent capabilities with the hand guns at the “Defence
Services Handgun Championships” at Walisara Navy Camp held on July 5th,
2012. The SLAF was able to grab both the Team Championship as well as
the Best Individual for performance in the Men’s
Category.
The Results of the championships are as follows:
The
winners were awarded prizes at an awards ceremony today (July 6th,
2012) at the Welisara Navy camp with participation of Rear Admiral
Shamal Fernando as Chief Guest of the occasion and Direcot Training of
Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal K Yahampath were also
present.
