The closing address and awards ceremony of intake 01/2012 Clerk GD Advanced Course was held on 09 Oct 2012 at TTS Auditorium under the patronage of Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe and Acting Officer Commanding Training Squadron Leader  WUS De Silva. Group Captain KSR Lewangama Commanding Officer of the SLAF Volunteer Records graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The Clerk GD Advanced Course commenced on 20 Jun 2012 and terminated on 09 Oct 2012. A total of 24 airmen passed out and they underwent both theory and practical training during the course.
The Shield for the best Clerk GD of the course was awarded to 30996 Cpl Senavirathne WMPS for his exceptional performance.
