After the inauguration ceremony of country’s second International Aiport at Mattala, HE the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, accompanied by First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa and other dignitaries arrived at the Rathmalana airport on a MA 60 aircraft of the Sri Lanka Air Force Helitours last evening. The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal HD Abeywickrama and the IGP NK Illangakoon were also part of the entourage. The President was flown to Mattala for the ceremony on a Sri Lanka Airlines aircraft and on his return journey to Ratmalana he was flown on a SLAF Helitours MA 60 aircraft.

Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore HMSKB Kotakadeniya received the President and other dignitaries at the airport.
