The course was conducted through the exercise “Green Rock Apes” (Designed with a given narrative), the participants were also involved in TEWT (Tactical Exercise Without Troops) and trained on operational planning, troop leading procedure, military map marking, leadership, analytical thinking combined with a series of model briefings.

A Bangladesh team comprising of two officers and six airmen who are part of the Air Base Defence Course at SLAF Diyatalawa were also given the opportunity to witness the operational briefings conducted by the course participants in addition to their scheduled programme. The course was conducted by the Officer Commanding Training Wg Cdr SPVK Senadheera and Chief Instructor Officer Training Sqn Ldr RAC Ranasinghe.
