The Closing Address of 01/2012 Aero Electrical & Instrument Basic Course was held on 16th September 2013 at SLAF TTS Auditorium under the patronage of the Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe and the Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. Representing the Directorate of Aeronautical Engineering, Wing Commander WRDMI Wickramasingha participated in the event as the Chief Guest.

The Aero Electrical & Instrument Basic Course commenced on 24th March 2012 and terminated on 13th September 2013. A total of 10 Airmen passed out as competent Aero Electrical Technicians and they underwent both theoretical and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Airman of the Aero Electrical & Instrument Basic Course was awarded to 43290 AC Amarasinghe BTA for his exceptional performance.
