The closing address of intake 01/2013 Air Radio Basic Course was held on 7th November 2013 at TTS Auditorium under the patronage of Commanding Officer Group Captain P Ranasinghe and Officer Commanding Training Wing Commander CJ Hettiarachchi. Group Captain JP Balasooriya graced the occasion as the Chief Guest on behalf of the DETE.
 
Air Radio Basic course commenced on 31st Desember 2012 and terminated on 7th November 2013. A total of eight Airmen passed out as Air Radio Assistance and they underwent both theoretical and practical training during the course.

The Shield for the best Air Radio Assistance of the course was awarded to 44346 AC Dissanayaka WMJB for his exceptional performance.
