‘Viru Daru Diri Thilina’ (Grants for Children with Special Needs), another innovative programme conducted by the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit for the third time was held at the Air Force Headquarter’s Auditorium on 29th January 2014 under the patronage of the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama and Chairperson of the SLAF SVU Mrs. Neelika Abeywickrema. A total number of 107 differently able children of service personnel as well as the civilian employees of the SLAF received monetary grants and gift parcels.

 The Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal KA Gunatilleke, Members of the Air Force Board of Management, members of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated at this function.
