SLAF Commander Meets His Chinese Counterpart

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke met the Commander-in-Chief of the People's Liberation Army Air Force of the People's Republic of China, General Ma Xiaotian during a recent visit to the Peoples’ Republic of China.
 
The two Air Chiefs exchanged mementos and discussed measures to promote greater cooperation and friendship between the two Air Forces.

During the visit, Air Marshal Gunatilleke also visited the China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation(CATIC), a leading trading corporation of China, whose core business is aviation and defence products. The SLAF fleet has a significant number of Aircraft of Chinese Origin and has maintained a longstanding relationship with CATIC.
