Sri Lanka Air Force athletes ran the few extra miles required to bag more medals in the 92nd National Athletic Championship 2014 held at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo on 12th, 13th & 14th August 2014.

The SLAF athletes displayed their talent and were rewarded with 12 Golds, whilst the counts for other medals were 11 Silver and 16 Bronze with a total of 39 medals.

Secretary Ministry of Sports Mr. Anura Jayawickrama graced the event as the Chief Guest whilst the Deputy General Manager of Bank of Ceylon Mr. GH Chandrasiri was also present. Over 870 athletes participated at the meet. The records created by the SLAF and the trophies and medals awarded are as follows.
