Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay won the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2014 beating SLAF TTS Ekala by 22-19 in the finals concluded yesterday at Gymnasium SLAF Base Katunayake amidst a large gathering. SLAF TTS Eka player Cpl Nandasiri was adjudged the best Shooter whilst LAC Rathnayake   and Cpl Kumari Manike of Academy Cby, were selected as Best Center Court Player and Best Defender respectively. Lac Priyadarshani of SLAF Academy China Bay was crowned The Netball Queen of the Inter Unit Netball Championship 2014.

The Chairperson SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. Roshani Gunatilleke graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the main awards. Chairperson SLAF Netball Wing Commander Sureka Dias, Officers, Air men and Air Women representing the Academy, Bases and stations were also present at the occasion.
