Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya  and SLAF Station Colombo team won the men’s and women’s Inter Unit Basketball Championships respectively at SLAF Base Rathmalana Outdoor  Basketball court on 28 October 2014.

Tech Formation, Sri Lanka Air Force Katunayake and SLAF Base Katunayake men’s and women’s team competed in the finals but ended up runners up in both categories.

Director General Engineering  of Sri Lanka Air Force Air Commodore AH  Wijesiri  graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Base Commander SLAF Base Rathmalana  Air Commodore PDKT Jayasinghe, senior officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
