Three more silver medals were won by SLAF athletes at the end of events last evening (02 February 2010) at the ongoing 2010 SAF Games held in Dhakar, Bangladesh. Airman Sampath Manjula Wijeratna also the national champ in the over 105 Kg weight lifting category secured 2nd place whilst wining a silver medal 11th SAF games. He lifted a total of 298 Kgs in this event.

Competing in the Judo events Airmen Chandana Jayantha Bandara was successful in winning silver in the under 66 Kg weight category whilst Airwoman Chamila Dilhani Wijeratna also secured a silver in the under 52 Kg event.



Mena while, the women’s Kabadi team managed to come 03rd place at this year’s SAF games that’s was held last evening (02 February 2010). Airwomen Nilusha Dilhani and Manoja Lakmalee were also among this national team.
