The Command Media Unit organized a conference for media coordinating officers of Academy/Bases/ Stations on 11 Feb 2015.  The meeting was chaired by Command Media Officer Wing Commander Gihan Seneviratne, who briefed the officers on the role of the Command Media Unit and the role that the media coordinating officers are to play.
 
Following the discussion, a workshop was conducted about handling of cameras and photography, with the aim of providing Media Coordinators with an exposure to the various skill areas that relate to media.
