Annual Commander's Inspection at Slaf Station Iranamadu

The Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke conducted the Annual AOC's Inspection of the SLAF Station Iranamadu on 19 March 2015.
The Commander was welcomed by the Commanding Officer Wing Commander MPA Galappaththi. Flying Officer HN Pinnaduwa commanded the street lining that was accorded the Commander on his arrival.
The Commander declared open the newly constructed Indoor Badminton Court and awarded A Certificate of Commendation to 27155 Cpl Jayalath(Male Nurse I) in appreciation of his meritorious contributions to the Station in particular and to the Air Force in general.
On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed the Officers, other ranks and civil staff of the Station and praised the commendable job they had done. He encouraged them to set and reach even higher goals.
