Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke was welcomed with a Guard of Honour during his first Official visit to Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters after being appointed as CDS today (13 July 2015).


The Chief of Defence Staff was received upon arrival by the Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala and was accorded a Guard of Honour by the SLAF colour wing.

Mementos were exchanged between the CDS and Commander of the SLAF to mark this special occasion in the Commander’s Office.  The CDS also met the Board of Management of the SLAF.
