Air Cdre DK Wanigasooriya handed over the command of Sri Lanka Air Force Base Vavuniya to Gp Capt RAUP Rajapaksa on 1 September 2015.The traditional “Handing over Taking over” parade was commanded by Wing Commander SWCP Bodhiseela. After the parade, a religious ceremony was held at the Base headquarters to invoke blessings on the new Base Commander.
