Departure of Replacement Personnel for UNPK Heli-Deployment (MINUSCA) to Central Africa

The annual changing of personnel of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Aviation Unit under the United Nations helicopter deployment in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) is due to take shortly.
 
16 Officers and 94 Airmen and are scheduled to depart to Central Africa in the first week of November 2015.

The passing out parade of the contingent was held today (22 October 2015)at SLAF Base Katunayake.  Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, the commander of the Air Force took the salute. Contingent commander of the Heli-Deployment,  Wing Commander Chamila Manathunga commanded the parade. Members of the Air force board of management and other senior officers were also present at the passing out parade.
