The 02nd day of Guwan Hamuda Papedi Sawariya ended today in front of the Peradeniya Singer Sri Lanka Showroom. The Commanding Officer Sri Lanka Air Force Palavi, Wing Commander Ranjith Hemachandra flagged off the race from Palavi and cyclist reached their destination through the inclined route.     

Sarath kumara from Sri Lanka Navy secured the first place of the 2nd stage by finishing the distance in 03 hours 24 minutes and 52 seconds. Lackshman Wijeratna of Sri Lanka Army A team leads the way passing the Wariyapola Sprint point and HL Krishantha from the German-Sri Lanka Cycling Club was adjudged as the Mountain King. Today Sri Lanka Navy Team A came out winners of the second stage.  
 
The third leg of the race will begin tomorrow (10th March) at 08.30hrs from Kandy. The race will be flagged offed in front of the Peradeniya Singer Sri Lanka Showroom. The third stage will see the race moving to the historical city of Anuradhapura covering 140Km of road.
