2016 Royal Australian Air Force Air Power Week Commences in Canberra Australia

The Royal Australian Air Force is hosting the 2016 RAAF Air Power Week and Air Power Conference through the period of 14-16 March 2016 at the National Convention Centre, Canberra Australia. The theme of the 2016 RAAF Air Power conference is “Multi-Domain Integration: Enabling Future Joint Success”.

Also the programme of the activities for the Air Power week includes the Sir Richard Williams Foundation Seminar on 17 March 2016. In addition to these events, a programme for spouses’ of the delegations hosted by Mrs Rhonda Davis, and a number of social and networking events will also be conducted in support of the programme. Invitations for this have been extended to 63 international delegations and for a significant number of Australian Military and Government representatives. It is reported that around 1000 delegates are now attending this event.

Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala is also participating in the Royal Australian Air Power Week-2016 in Canberra Australia.

During the Air Power Conference, Air Marshal Bulathsinghala met Air Chiefs of the participating Nations including Gen. Lori J. Robinson the Commander, Pacific Air Forces; Air Component Commander for U.S. Pacific Command; and Executive Director, Pacific Air Combat Operations Staff, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
