A Guard of Honour was accorded to outgoing IGP Mr NK Illangakoon, at Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Headquarters this morning (7 April  2016) to mark his official retirement.

The Guard of Honour was conferred by the Colour Squadron of SLAF. After the inspection of the parade, the IGP was received by  Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Gagan  Bulathsinghala, Commanding Officer of SLAF Colombo, Air Commodore Prasanna Payoe and Officers of SLAF Headquarters.

Official plaques were exchanged between the IGP and Commander of AF at the Commander’s Office. Thereafter outgoing IGP Mr Illangakoon met with the Chief of Staff and the Board of Management of SLAF.
