The Sri Lanka Air Force Pre-School Colombo, held its annual sports meet on 31^st July 2009. The establishment of high educational standard pre-schools, in Air Force establishments located around the country was a concept introduced by the present SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit chairperson Mrs. Nelun Goonatilaka. This in deed generates immense value, as it eases the burden of providing quality early education for serving personnel in the SLAF.

The Commanding Officer of SLAF-Colombo Group Captain Nishantha Darmadasa, was invited as the chief guest for this occasion.
