The visiting Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman called on the State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene, Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army and the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy today (08 August 2016).

The Chief of the Air Staff was warmly welcomed by the State Minister of Defence and Secretary to the Ministry of Defence at the MOD premises. Thereafter CAS was accorded with Guard of Honour on arrival at the respective Army and Navy headquarters.

Mementos were exchanged between the visiting Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman and the Commander of the Army Lieutenant General A W J C De Silva and between Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne to mark this occasion.
