The certificate awarding ceremony of No. 68th Non Commissioned Officers’ Management Course was held at Astra Multifunction Hall of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay on 23rd December 2016. Officer In Charge Printing Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School Ekala, Air Commodore SD Kotage graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay Air Cdre PDKT Jayasinghe also witnessed the event.

The primary objective of conducting this course is to impart a sound academic and managerial education to  Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF while sharpening their leadership qualities. The course runs through a well-formed Syllabus over a scheduled period of 11 weeks. The comprehensive course is affiliated to the University of Rajarata and all Non Commissioned Officers who fulfil the required criteria will be awarded with a certificate in Management.

The No. 68th batch comprising of 39 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 45 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 02 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SL Navy and 02 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SL Army. Certificates were awarded to 88 Non Commissioned Officers to acknowledge the successful completion of the course.

26721 Sgt Dissanayake SCW (Admin Assist Sp I) was named the best all-round Senior Non Commissioned Officer while 28283 Cpl Saranga KAS (Aero E&I Sp I) became as the best all-round Junior Non Commissioned Officer. Other special award winners are as follows.
