SLAF Base Ratmalana celebrated its 32nd anniversary on 23 April 2017. To mark the occasion a CSR program for Yasorapura orphanage was carried out on 21 April 2017.

The formation day celebration commenced with a parade reviewed by the Base Commander Air Cdre RP Liyanagamage. He addressed the parade and thanked all who contributed to meet the tasks and uplift the standards of the base.

After the parade an Elle tournament was held with participation of all ranks. The day’s celebration also included Angampora cultural show, musical show and all rank dinner with the participation of all service and civil personnel with their families.
