'Colombo Air Symposium 2017' Enters its Second Day

After the successful conclusion of the first day, the second day's sessions of the 3rd 'Colombo Air Symposium - 2017', began this morning at the Eagles Lakeside Banquet & Convention Hall Attidiya on time following another breathtaking cultural display.

The Symposium was held under the theme “Air Power in Addressing Asymmetric Threats.”

The first day sessions saw 8 eminent local and foreign speakers sharing their knowledge under sub topics, New Landscape Threats, Regional Landscape, Advanced Persistent Threats, Air Power and Small States,

The second day will saw four guest speakers delivering presentations and fielding questions on the topic of Asymmetric Threats during the two sessions slated for the day.

The two day conference came to an end this afternoon following the concluding remarks by U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. James Eifert, Air National Guard assistant to the Commander, Pacific Air Forces who was one of the presenters at the symposium.
 
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Chairman of the Symposium Committee Air Commodore HSS Thuyacontha and the 3rd 'Colombo Air Symposium - 2017' was concluded.
