New Holiday Home Complex for SLAF Retired Officers
Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy declared open the newly constructed Retired Officers` Holiday Home Complex at China Bay on 10 December 2017. This holiday home complex has been constructed under the concept of the Commander of the Air Force.

The project was completed within a very short period by Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering. The facility consists of three fully furnished separate luxury rooms with attached bathrooms, verandas and sitting areas. Further a fully equipped kitchen with cooking apparatus is also available at this holiday home complex.

Director Ground Operations Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando, Director Logistics Air Vice Marshal HMSKB Kotakadeniya, Director Training Air Vice Marshal PDKT Jayasinghe, Commandant SLAF Academy China Bay Air Commodore HSS Thuyacontha, Retired Officers` and Academy Officers were also present at the ceremony.
