A vital and long outstanding requirement was fulfilled when the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy officially launched the “SLAF Doctrine” today (02 June 2018) at AFHQ. Initial copies of the “SLAF Doctrine” were handed over to the members of the Air Force Board of Management.

The doctrine will provide seamless integration of all elements of the SLAF and also facilitate all concerned in understanding the SLAF’s vision, ethics, organization and role. It includes “best practices” and “lessons learnt” in all key areas of the SLAF.
