The Annual All Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony was held at SLAF Station Batticaloa on 22nd March 2019 to mark its 36th Anniversary in combination with “Thripitakabhivandana Week” in view of the declaration of Therevada Thripitaka as a world heritage.

The pirith chanting ceremony was followed by an alms giving for Venerable Maha Sangha and the Reliquary was taken to the Station premises in a colorful procession. The event was witnessed by All Officers, other ranks and civilian staff along with their family members.
