No 05 Heliborne Operation Course for sister services concluded at the at Regiment Special Forces Training School (RSFTS) Morawewa yesterday (16 October 2021) with participants from the SL Army Special Forces, the Commando Regiment, SL Navy Special Boat Squadron, Marine Corps, SL Army Airmobile Brigade, SL Police Special Task Force and SLAF Regiment Special Forces personnel.

The one month training program was focused on rope work and special rescue training methods including Heli-rappelling, Abseiling, fast rope, SPIE rope, STABO, Rope rescue and jungle heliborne operation exercises.

Closing address and certificate awarding ceremony were held yesterday marking the successful completion of training with the participation of the Commanding Officer of SLAF Regiment Special Forces Wing Commander Priydarshana Hettiarachchi.
