In the finals, SLAF’s Chamari Senevirathna produced a magnificent spell capturing 4 wickets for 21 which restricted Parlinks to 129 runs for 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Nirosha Wickramasinghe and Chanika Nilukshi scored 44 runs and 38 runs respectively to offer a good target for the strong SLAF team to follow up.

In reply, the combined effort of Chamari Athapaththu (37 runs), Chamari Polgampola (35 runs not out) and Dhilani Manodara (35 runs not out) made it possible for the airwomen to pass the target in the 29th over with 7 wickets to spare. The Parlinks all-rounder, Chalika Nilukshi in addition to her batting performance attempted to control SLAF’s performance with a 3 wicket haul for 13 runs which was nevertheless insufficient for the task at hand.
