Telephone operators perform their duties as the first line of contact for the out side organizations. The telephone operators are responsible to connect outside incoming calls to the required person in the organization and to dial and connect outside calls to the individual personnel when requested.

Qualifications

Passes in 06 Subjects at the G.C.E.(O/L) Examination at not more than two sittings including ordinary passes in Sinhala/Tamil and English languages. (If Mathematics / Science is/are included in the six subjects Mathematics II, Science II for an applicant of year 1999/2000).
