SLAF Women’s Team Wins 7th Consecutive Defence Services Volleyball Title
SLAF Women’s Team emerged as Champions while the Men’s team became Runners Up at the Defence Services Volleyball Championship 2020.
Defence Services Volleyball Championship 2020 was held from 12th to 14th of February 2020 at SLAF Base Katunayaka. During the finals the SLAF Women’s Team defeated SL Army (3-0) while the SL Army Men’s Team defeated SLAF Men’s team (3-1). This was the 7th consecutive Defence Services Volleyball Championship bagged by the SLAF Women’s Team.
Director Training, Air Vice Marshal MDAP Payoe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman of SLAF Volleyball, Air Commodore RN Thilakasinghe, Senior Officers from the Sri Lanka Army, Navy and Air Force were also present for the finals.
