No 60 Junior Command and Staff Course Graduates from China Bay
The Graduation Ceremony of No 60 Junior Command and
Staff Course was held at the Astra Hall at SLAF Academy China Bay
yesterday (10 June 2019).
Air Vice Marshal LR Jayaweera, the Director Health Services graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Officers from the SL Army and SL Navy also participated for the event as distinguished Guests.
This ceremony marked the end of the 11-week long course attended by 27 Officers. It included 22 Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force, two (2) Officers from the Sri Lanka Navy and one (1) Officer each from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan Air Forces.
The JC&SC is accredited to the University of Kelaniya and the Officers who fulfill the required criteria will be offered with a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management.
A Guest Night was also held at the Officers Mess to mark the Graduation with the participation of Faculty Members of the Junior Command and Staff College, graduates and their ladies.
