Air Trafic Controllers

They have been trained Overseas and locally to perform duties in the capacity of an Air Traffic Controller. In addition Airmen are also trained in Air Defence environments to perform the duties at Air Defence Radar Squadrons and are capable of carrying out routine Administrative matters under highly operational environments. In addition they are competent in performing duties at Air Operations Room in the capacity of a Middle Manager, coordinating various activities with Internal and outside organizations.

Further, experienced in maintaining airfield information signals and meteorological reports, plotting maps and charts, record of aircraft movements and operations. They are also competent to operate UHF, VHF and HF radio communication receivers and direction finding equipment. They have the knowledge and experience to work as Air Traffic Controllers at Air Traffic Control Centre and are competent to co-ordinate activities in a highly operational environment.
