The No 04 Air Defence Radar Squadron at Sri Lanka Air Force Mirigama
was established as a part of the National Air Defence System of Sri Lanka
and has been tasked to provide air surveillance, early warning to the
Air Defence Command & Control Centre, close control of interceptor
aircraft, provide navigational/ weather information and assistance for
rescue missions.
