SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF BASIC GROUND COMBAT COURSE BY NO. 68 OFFICER CADETS AND NO.20 LADY OFFICER CADETS INTAKES
No. 68 Intake Officer Cadets and No.20 Intake Lady Officer Cadets completed their Basic Ground Combat Courses at SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa on 24 December 2023.
The Commanding Officer of the SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa, Air Commodore HTH Dharmadasa graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Officer Commanding Training, Wing Commander JAS Priyankara, officers and instructors were present for the occasion.
A total of 40 Officer Cadets from the No. 68 Intake of Officer Cadets and No. 20 Intake Lady Officer Cadets passed out from the Combat Training School. The Commanding Officer addressed the new entrants during the Closing Ceremony and congratulated them on their successful completion of Basic Combat Training and stressed the importance of becoming a member of an illustrious and battle-hardened Air Force and shouldering responsibilities to serve the motherland.
