Thirty-two juniors competed for top honours over two days at the newly constructed Eagles’ Heritage Golf Club at SLAF Base Anuradhapura. The Gold division was won by Prashan Peiris, while the Silver division was won by Armand Flamer Caldera.  Meanwhile T.Vikash was the champion in the Bronze division.

Water hazards, sand bunkers and mounds, roughs and dog-legs as well as the breeze along the Run-way created a challenging environment for players, making it an unforgettable tournament of golf.

The championship was conducted by the Sri Lanka Golf Union with the assistance of Ceylon Agro Industries – promoters of Sunrise Bread, Pro Golf (Pvt) Ltd along with Eagles’ Heritage Golf Club. The tournament was also used to identify young talents for the Junior Development Squad of the SLGU. The Chief Guest of the occasion Group Captain Prasana Ranasinghe, Group Captain Sampath Thuacontha Base Commander SLAF Base Anuradhapura and Mr. Anuradha Hewage of Prima Group Sri Lanka gave away the awards.
