Proving why they are the masters of the game, SLAF Base Katunayake – Tech Formation team emerged the winners of the Air Force Inter Unit Squash Championship which was worked off at the Squash Courts Complex at SLAF Base Ratmalana on 29 August 2014.

Thrashing the contending finalists from SLAF Base Ratmalana – Tech Formation team, the six member team from Katunayake performed exceptionally well to clinch the winning title.

Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Air Vice Marshal Rohan Pathirage graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst the Chairman SLAF Squash Air Vice Marshal Lal Perera and Base Commander of Air Force Base Ratmalana, Air Commodore Ravi Jayasinghe, also witnessed the finals.
 
The Champion Katunayake Tech Formation team consisted of Gp Capt HU Wijeweera, Sqn Ldr LMCB Nissanka, Sqn Ldr MCM Fernando, Flt Lt HMTK Herath, Fg Off AGBP Kumarasinghe, and Fg Off PGM Weerasinghe.

The Runner-up Ratmalana Tech Formation team consisted of Gp Capt HMB Herath, Wg Cdr S Witharana, Sqn Ldr DL Hewawithrana, Sqn Ldr DI Wijethilake, Sqn Ldr DE Geeganage, Sqn Ldr DLA Manage, and FLt Lt WCM Dayarathne.
