The Sri Lanka Air Force was awarded a certificate and award of ‘Health Services Excellence’ by the Directorate of IDP Healthcare coming under the Ministry of  Healthcare and Nutrition, Sri Lanka in appreciation of the dedicated health care provided for the internally displaced persons based at the Manikfarm, Cheddikulam and Vauniya IDP Camps.

The internally displaced personnel were visited by a professional team of SLAF Medical/Dental officers and Psychologist late last year. The SLAF team was also joined by a group of civilian Specialists, trainee clinical Psychologists, Optometrists and Audiologists in view of successfully achieving greater results.
