The newly constructed water purification plant at SLAF Stn Mow was declared open by the Commanding Officer Wg Cdr WPS Marapperuma on 24 March 2015.

This was long awaited project due to the non-availability of sufficient clean drinking water at the Station. The new water well, pump house and water purification system will furnish the drinking water requirement at the Station.
