As part of the celebrations a Working Parade was held at the Parade Square and it was reviewed by the Base Commander Air Commodore PDKT Jayasinghe. This was followed by a Cricket match among Base personnel at the Base sport ground.

The day’s proceedings concluded with an all ranks lunch.
