SLAF 11th Open Squash Championship - 2016

The Air Force 11th Open Squash Championship was held from 23 February 2016 with the participation of 300 participants and successfully concluded this evening (29 February 2016 ) at the Sri Lanka Air Force Squash Complex, Ratmalana.
Ravindu Laksiri of Sri Lanka Air Force and Mihilya Methsarani of Srimawo Girl’s School Colombo won the Men’s and Women’s Open Championships respectively.
The seven day Championship was worked off in the age groups of Under 13, 15, 17 and 19. It also included events for men and women open, men’s intermediate (over 35), over 45, over 50 and men’s and women’s novices.
The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. members from the Air Force Board of Management, The Chairman SLAF Squash Air Commodore SD Kotage, Base Commander SLAF Base Ratmalana Air Commodore SK Pathirana, President of the Sri Lanka Squash Federation Mr. Suranjth Premadasa and Senior Officers of the SLAF also graced the occasion.
