The Special Entertainment Programme  organized to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Air Force was held at Independence Square this evening (01 March  2016)

This colourful evening comprised of a drill display by the SLAF Colour Wing, Western and Eastern dancing performances of the SLAF dancers, music by the SLAF Military Band, SLAF Cultural Band and a special performance by the SLAF Angampora team.

Secretary to the President Mr. PB Abeykoon, Secretary to the ministry of defence Engineer Karunasena Hettiarachchi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chief of Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy and Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, Members of the board of management, Officers, other ranks and civilians witnessed this colourful programme.
