Pakistan NDC Visits Air Force Headquarters

A 20-member delegation from the Pakistan National Defence College (NDC) headed by Lieutenant General Nazir Ahmed Butt paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters this morning (26 April 2016).
 
NDC delegation currently on their Overseas Study Tour in Sri Lanka comprises of senior Officers from the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force, foreign students from Turkey, Iran, Nigeria, Sudan and two civilian students.

On arrival to AFHQ, they were welcomed by Wing Commander Rajiv Kodippily Staff Officer Training II to the Director Training of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunarathne. Thereafter, the delegation met the Chief of Staff, Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe. Symbolic mementos were exchanged between the delegation and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force to mark this event.

Subsequently, a presentation was conducted by Group Captain Lasitha Sumanaweera, the Senior Staff Officer Air Operations on ‘Post Conflict Role and Challenges’ of the Sri Lanka Air Force and interactive Q & A session was held with the participation of Air Force Board of Management.  The Director Ground Operations Air Vice Marshal Krishan Yahampath and the Director Training Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunarathne joined to bestow mementos to the NDC delegation to mark this visit.
